Anne Harper will showcase art as part of the SYNERGY group exhibition at KAI LIN ART ANNEX opening on August 14, 2026 at 7PM.
About the Exhibition:
Anne Harper will be participating in SYNERGY, the inaugural exhibition at the new KAI LIN ART ANNEX in Atlanta. Curated by Emi Noelle Douglas, the exhibition brings together artists in unexpected pairings to explore what can emerge when two distinct creative voices meet within a shared work.
For SYNERGY, Anne was paired with artist Daisy-Anne Dickson, creating from a place of collaboration, trust, experimentation, and discovery. The process offered an opportunity to move beyond the familiar boundaries of an individual studio practice and consider how another artist’s perspective can influence and expand one’s own.
SYNERGY features painting, sculpture, mixed media, and multidisciplinary work from artists across the region, and celebrates the power of connection—between artists, ideas, creative processes, and the people who experience the finished work.
The exhibition also marks the opening of KAI LIN ART ANNEX, a new 10,000+ square-foot space adjacent to KAI LIN ART’S West Midtown gallery and created to support ambitious exhibitions, artistic experimentation, and Atlanta’s growing contemporary art community.
SYNERGY opens Friday, August 14 from 7–10 PM and is free and open to the public. The exhibition will remain on view through the end of September 2026.

About the Exhibition:
KAI LIN ART is pleased to announce our first exhibition of 2026 and the seventh iteration of our annual juried works on paper exhibition: THE NEW SOUTH 7 on view through March 13, 2026.
https://www.kailinart.com/news/tns7
THE NEW SOUTH 7 brings together 63 selected works by 48 artists living and working across the Southeastern United States. Chosen from over 800 submissions, the exhibition reflects the continued vitality, diversity, and experimentation emerging from the region’s contemporary art community. This year’s exhibition was juried by Beth Wilson, Fine Art Specialist for The Coca-Cola Company, whose selections highlight the breadth of conceptual, material, and formal approaches possible within the medium of paper.
Celebrating paper as both a traditional and expansive medium, THE NEW SOUTH 7 encompasses a wide range of themes, styles, and techniques—from intimate drawings and printmaking to mixed-media and sculptural explorations—underscoring paper’s enduring relevance in contemporary art practice.
